Pom Poms 2

I found these two pics of throwing pom poms. It makes me love them even more. I have been trying to think of ways we can use them as decorations as well. I really like what this couple did. They had three next to each other, but they were in the middle of pews. I don't know where you would find something like they used or how to attach them to chairs. Any ideas?

Do you have any idea what kind of chairs they have there?

Yeah they are white, folding chairs i believe. WE are going there in Dec, I plan on checking out the chairs and maybe taking some measurements of them just in case.

I have a thought ! Little chairback hangers , like the ones for purses . I've seen cool shower curtain hooks used . Also , can use white lunch bags cut with pinking shears to shorten .. I think have a vision , hee hee ! .. Or , I just think that little bags ( maybe those little drawstring kind that we get our art fair jewelry in )on each chair would be adorable !!!!!! I can do that !!!

The bags pictured look like they have been sewn. You know I could do that for you! If they are sewn bags, ribbons could be added so that they could be tied wherever. Or I like Nancy's idea of using white paper bags. They could all be placed in pretty, big baskets at the back of the "church" and people could grab them on their way out. Another way to use the pom poms would be to scatter them on tables at the reception! That would be so cute! You go planner girl!

hey !
holly had a great idea .. we can stay andpick up the pom poms after the ceremony , take them to the reception and scatter them on the tables to continue the theme ! or we can make some too and already have them there
xo

As I look at the picture again, it looks like the pom poms are in felt "bags". If you used the right thickness, they would stand on their own in chairs or pews and would require a minimum of sewing and they could be embellished with ribbons or whatever! Woo Hoo!

Wa-La ..VELCRO ! The adhesive kind that can stick on the chair and the bags!!!!
Are you still making pom poms ? Or are you buying them ??

I am making them. I like the yarn looking ones better :) I was also thinking maybe we can do the paper bag idea and have someone hand them out with the programs. They are going to be thrown inside the PPH, not outside...we dont want to be chasing them all over the park. haha.

Brainstorm!!!!
How about folding pretty paper origami cones to hold the pom poms?!
That would look so cool all grouped together in a basket or handed out with the programs.

yeah the cones are a good idea. ive been thinking it would be good to hand them out with the programs. :)
