Our photographer sent me the following picture from the wedding. Steve and I love it, so I thought I would share it with all of you. Enjoy!

Engagement Photos

We received the proofs for our engagement photos in the mail this weekend. We had them taken in Forest Park a few weekends ago. It was a really sunny day and I ended up pretty squinty in most of them. Below is one of my favorites. If you would like to view all of them, you can check them out here. This is all of them our photographer sent us. I do not like all of them, but there are a few good ones. A big thank you to Jessica, Steve's youngest sister, for going with us to get them taken. She was a trooper and took care of Chewie for us. Lets hope I'm not so squinty the day of the wedding and that I like more of those photos!

Here is another group of pictures that I love and want something similar taken on our wedding day. Pictures of the bride's shoes! While mine are not designer, like many of the ones I see on the wedding blogs, I still would like them to get their own photo op. :)

Wedding Day Pictures

Last weekend Steve and I got our engagement pictures taken(yes engagement pics 1 year and 2 months later. hehe) and it got me thinking about some pictures we might like to have taken on the big day. Don't worry I will post some of the engagement pictures once we have them, so be on the look out for those in a few weeks. :) Anyways here are some examples of one I would love to have take. My dress hanging up before I get to put it on. I think it would be really great to get a picture of it hanging in the Piper Palm House. It will have to get done quickly though, since we can only be at the PPH at 1 and the guys will be showing up at 1:30!

I forgot to mention that we found a photographer! We met with Pattie Gabriel the day of Becky and Steve's wedding at her studio. Steve and I really liked all of her work. I really liked some of the little things you don't get with other places. For example, our proofs will come in a handmade box for us to keep. Besides these things Patti seemed really easy to get along with and I think it will be great to have her document our special day.

Photographer

I made an appointment to meet with a photographer on Nov 1, when we are in St. Louis for Becky and Steve's wedding. Her name is Patti Gabriel. Cathy, at NEO, referred her to us. She has a great knowledge of photography. I also had my dad look her site, he seems to know a thing or two about photography :) I liked a lot of the work she has up on her site. I'm looking forward to this meeting a lot.

If we can get a good guest list together soon I think I am going to try to make an appointment with a caterer for that Saturday. I also scheduled a day in December to look at dresses again with Ellen, mom and if she can come SL.
